Infeed Section:
- Heavy steel tubular construction
- Two (2) 8" diameter X 10' long turning rolls
- Rolls are turned and raised/lowered hydraulically to
position log
- Rolls driven by #80 feed chain
- Feed chain is 81X with attachments and is powered by
hydraulic motor with variable speed control

Center Section:
- Two (2) heavy steel husk frames fabricated from heavy tubing
- 2-15/16" saw mandrels with 8" saw collars
- 48" inserted tooth saws
- 15" wide offbearing belt on each husk with speed
reducer driven from saw mandrels
- 75HP, 1750 RPM, 460 volt drip proof motors with 5V drive on
each husk (other power options available).
- Husks are mounted with linear ball bushings on hardened
round steel "ways", with air-operated stacked cylinder setworks
- Air setworks for 4" - 6" - 8" - 10" -
12" automatic setting (other settings available)
- Saw opening is 4" minimum to 12" maximum
- Air operated hold-down roll, sprocket type; tubular frame
- Feed chain is 81X with attachments and is powered by
hydraulic motor with variable speed control
- 5 HP power unit with 3 GPM pump and 30 gallon tank, sight
gauge and filter

Outfeed Section:

- 81X outfeed chain with attachments, powered by separate 2 HP
electric drive
